I was recently contacted by a constituent who brought to my attention that the midwifery service in Swanley, which had been moved to West Kingsdown during the pandemic, had still not returned.
Midwifery services are vital for our community and after raising it urgently with the Chief Executive of the Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust Darent Valley Hospital (DVH) to express my concerns, I am pleased to announce the service will now be returning to Swanley later this month.
Thank you to Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust Darent Valley Hospital (DVH) for responding so quickly, and I hope this will make a difference to expectant mums in Swanley.
