It was great to today visit Swanley Park.
During the visit I met Richard Maile who is Chairman of the Swanley Wildlife and Nature Group. The group has achieved environmental awards for its work in the community and it was fascinating to hear and see what the group have achieved over the years. If you would like to help, or simply keep up to date with their work, do follow their Facebook Page. I would also encourage schools to get in touch as the wildlife area and park have the potential to be a valuable local educational resource.
I also had a chance to pop into The Barnyard Soft Play centre in Swanley Park. Its an absolutely brilliant site and its wonderful to see new investment in facilities being created for young families in the town.
