I was delighted, to meet with Revd Emma Young at St John's Church Sutton-at-Hone to hear about the great community work, events and support that the Church provides.
St John’s is a lovely ancient Grade I listed parish church, but clearly in need of repair. Revd Emma told me of the need to raise an initial £30,000 in order to release match-funding of a further £30,000 from a generous benefactor. That in itself can then assist obtain further grant-funding toward the eventual target of £200,000.
