Last week I met with Sevenoaks District Council Leader Julia Thornton.
It was good to hear from Julia that the Vine Public Space Protection Order consultation is going well. Alongside the announcement last week that nitrous oxide, more commonly known as laughing gas, will be categorised as a class C drug and made illegal by the end of the year – steps both nationally and locally are being taken to stamp out antisocial behaviour.
The Sevenoaks District Council consultation closes at midnight Sunday 24 September, so please do make sure you have your say.
