I was delighted last week to today visit St Bartholomew's Catholic Primary School in Swanley.
The visit started with an assembly of the whole school, followed by a fabulous song from the children. I then spoke to the pupils about my role as local MP and answered their excellent questions.
I also had the pleasure of meeting in person Olivia Green from Year 5 who last year won my Christmas Card competition. Olivia is astonishingly good at drawing and presented me with three more drawings, which I will frame and keep in my office.
I also spoke with the Head Boys and Girls who took me on a tour of the school. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and am most grateful to Mrs Moran for having organised the afternoon. The children at the school were an absolute delight and a great credit to the school.
