Maternity services have understandably had to adapt quickly to the COVID-19 outbreak. The wards have done a terrific job at putting new parents at ease, during what can be a daunting time even in normal circumstances.
At today’s Health and Social Care Committee I asked the CEO of NHS Providers when expectant parents can expect maternity services to return to normal and what support can be provided to trusts to ensure this occurs as soon as possible.
