I am delighted to announce that this week’s Community Hero is Eliza Ecclestone. Since the very beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, Eliza has worked tirelessly to support the local community. In mid-march she set up 'Care For Our Community', which has triumphantly worked ever since to help coordinate a huge effort across Sevenoaks to support those in need. From providing food, to distributing unwanted iPads and laptops, Eliza’s energy and ingenuity has been inspiring.
I have this morning spoken to Eliza to thank her for her extraordinary efforts and her story will be covered in print as part of our Community Heroes partnership with the Sevenoaks Chronicle, which is out on Thursday.
