I have spoken to many key workers across the constituency this week who are nervous about ensuring high levels of workplace safety if and when the lockdown restrictions begin to be introduced. Yesterday I raised these concerns with the business minister and asked him to assure the House that employers will be reminded of their responsibilities to keep their workers safe, and that key workers in particular will be protected in terms of PPE and transport as and when other sectors return to work.
