Following the recent spell of cold weather, a number of you have rightly been in touch to raise concerns about potholes - which present a real danger for road users. Today I was in West Kingsdown with Cllr Lynda Harrison, who pointed out some particularly dangerous ones.
While Kent County Council do excellent work to repair potholes as quickly as possible, Kent has over 5,000 miles of roads and therefore we all have a role to play in reporting issues.
So, if you are out and about - whether in a car, on a bike, or on foot – and spot a pothole which needs repair, please visit: https://www.kent.gov.uk/.../what-we-look.../roads/potholes
If you do not hear back from the council, let my office know and we can check in on the repair schedule.
By working together, we can make sure our roads across Sevenoaks and Swanley are repaired. Please do share this post in local community groups and with friends and family if helpful.
