It was an honour to yesterday host a Parliamentary Reception with the National Trust to celebrate Sir Winston Churchill’s birthday - one of my more famous former constituents.
Chartwell, his family home in Sevenoaks, has rightly become a place of political pilgrimage with many people flocking to visit from across the country.
A huge thank you to Hilary McGrady from the National Trust, and Chelsea Pettitt and Katherine Carter from Chartwell who all spoke so brilliantly about Sir Winston Churchill, his family and his legacy.
