Following another busy week in the Chamber, it was a honour to today thank the hard working parliamentary staff who have made the ‘virtual’ parliament possible during these difficult times. Their speed and determination has allowed Parliament to continue to scrutinise Government, while also allowing members to raise the issue of our constituents at the highest level.
I look forward to seeing more on the developments regarding remote voting and I hope the Government will allow for a debate after its introduction so we can discuss the longer term benefits such a platform would have for those with care responsibilities, health conditions and other access requirements.
