I continue to be inundated with letters and emails from residents who are furious that the London ULEZ is being extended to the outer London border without us having a say.
I am continuing to fight the proposal in any way I can, and am pleased that Kent County Council, led by Conservative Leader Roger Gough and Cabinet Member of Highways and Transport, David Brazier, will be refusing to allow Transport for London to erect ULEZ signage on Kent’s roads.
KCC have said this will stand until TfL engage in a meaningful discussion about mitigation for those drivers who will be most affected by the scheme – they have my full support.
