When I first stood for election in 2019, I committed to support bringing a boys’ grammar school to Sevenoaks, and was delighted when it opened in September 2021.
Earlier this month I met with Head Amanda Simpson on site, and with four years intake of pupils’ now at the school it is really buzzing. It is such a relief that so many of our local children no longer have to travel to Tunbridge Wells and can be educated locally. And, Amanda and her team of dedicated teachers are doing such a great job. We are very lucky that due to the perseverance of so many people, we have both the boys and girls grammar annexes in Sevenoaks.
