I thoroughly enjoyed a recent visit to Provender Nurseries, in Swanley, where I met Stuart Tickner Head of Nursery, Bio-Security & Production and Managing Director Richard McKenna.
Provender is an independent wholesale supplier of high-quality plants and trees alongside related landscape supplies and accessories to the horticultural trade industry - and is one of the largest such wholesalers in the country, employing around 80 people.
The quality of their stock was amazing and I discussed various issues relating to the horticultural trade which I will now be raising on their behalf with the Government.
