Last month I met with local councillors Gary Williamson and John Grint to discuss the work they have been undertaking to remove unauthorised developments and deposits of waste and equipment in Halstead.
Planning enforcement can be complicated due to the fact that the different agencies (SDC, KCC and the Environment Agency) all cover different aspects, however Gary and John are working so hard to stand up for their local community - and have my full support.
Green Belt planning infringements will not be tolerated and I will continue to work with all concerned to protect the Green Belt from unauthorised development.
