I am delighted to hear that Sevenoaks Town FC has today been awarded £7,000 by the Premier League. This grant will help them cover the costs of adjustments that need to be made to allow for the safe return of players and supporters.
I was lucky enough to visit the club over the summer, where I met with Chairman Paul Lansdale. We discussed both the great community work being carried out by the club and also the challenges of COVID and the return of spectators to the ground. I know this funding will make a huge difference and I congratulate all involved for securing it.
