I am absolutely delighted to tell you that following my petition, signed by over 1000 of you to increase the number of trains on the fast line through Otford and Swanley, I have received a response from Southeastern confirming that an additional rush hour train will be added to the service from the December 2023 timetable change.
This is great news and means during the two hour morning rush hour period, there will be a half hourly service to Charing Cross via London Bridge.
I am incredibly grateful to all of you who signed my petition, because without your support, this would not have happened.
It is equally important this half hourly service is replicated during the evening rush hour. I will therefore continue to argue the case for these additional trains.
