Today I had the pleasure of visiting Sevenoaks Pharmacy, who will on Good Friday administer their 10,000 Covid vaccination.
This is a remarkable achievement, which has only been made possible through the hard work and dedication of the pharmacists, staff and volunteers. The pharmacy was the first independent chemist in Kent to offer the vaccine, and since 28th January they have worked from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, administering on average 150 jabs a day.
Whilst at the pharmacy I met with Data Manager Krunal Barot; Operations Manager Dipak Patel; and Pharmacist Hinal Makwana who alone has vaccinated around 6000 people. I was also greeted by volunteer Stan Cullis who has been working tirelessly alongside his fellow volunteers to support the operation.
Our community is a safer place because of their hard work, and we are all immensely grateful.
