At today's Health and Social Care Select Committee, I asked the Minister about #maternity safety, and specifically how the Early Notification Scheme has allowed rapid lessons to be learnt by #NHS clinicians.
For background, the Early Notification Scheme requires the Trusts to notify NHS Resolution of maternity incidents that are unexpectedly omitted to ICU immediately, so that lessons can be learnt and safety improved for #mothers and #babies.
I thank the Minister for her response, and all the work her and her team are doing to improve maternity safety for families across #Sevenoaks and #Swanley.
